Shortly after my father passed away, my wife and I saw your work at the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts. I really loved your work - there was a dramatic piece with a sailboat at sea that really caught my eye - a lady’s pearl necklaces made up of some of the rigging. I then had the idea of having you make a portrait of my dad and I remembered showing the photos of him to you in your studio. I remember getting choked up just doing that. Then I when I went to see the portrait you did, I was stunned. You really captured my father. I gave you a dozen photographs and yet the picture you created was not a single one of them. I still cannot believe how well you communicated his spirit - and you never met him, except through the photos and our description of him. His portrait hangs in my home office and a photo is here at my desk. It is one of my prized possessions.

The portrait is beautiful. I absolutely love it. The poses are great and the hidden elements are so fun. Timothy was thrilled to see the owl, the deer and the butterfly you added. The portrait really captures the boys - their relationship with each other and their love for the outdoors. Thank you very much for all your time and energy on this project.

I brought home and presented to my family the Sylvester and Tweety Warner Brothers print you designed. My wife, 12 year old daughter, and 10 year old son loved it. They are still trying to find all the hidden “treasures” within the print. My wife claims that my daughter’s cat, Oreo, lovingly gazes at Sylvester like it is her husband or something. Needless to say, the print is now hanging above my wife’s computer desk.

I thought I would update you on how much we are enjoying Nugget the dog print. We had it framed and it is in our dining room where we take great delight in discovering “new” dogs within the portrait. It is very interesting how the perspective changes with distance and we find dogs that are not obvious up close.

Today I picked up from Gallery C, the commissioned portrait of my black and white Persian cat with the wild curling whiskers. I absolutely love the portrait! You created a beautiful balanced backdrop in elegant blue and burnt red paisley at the bottom. You captured the beauty and the spirit of Bandit, my Persian; I will treasure this portrait. I am so very very pleased and hope to one day order another portrait from you. Thank you!

I just got Jumper back from the framer and it is spectacular! I am so excited to get Jumper finally home. He looks like he is jumping right out of the wall with that fire in his eyes. Now he proudly resides in a place of honor on our tallest white wall. Definitely the focal point of the house.

I’ve had caricatures done of me before and it never feels like me. Even photographs don’t always look like me, but this is so me, or the me I want to be

I hung the portrait (you did of my kids) between the kitchen and dinning room. Every time I walk by it it makes me smile.
